Dynamic Content (also seen as Merge Tags) is content that dynamically changes. In Club OS, dynamic content can be inserted into text and email campaigns or follow up scripts and changes for each recipient upon sending. Content will be displayed with {{  }}. For example, {{recipient-first}}.

Configurable Dynamic Content

For dynamic content that's based on information not tracked in Club OS, such as a location's Instagram URL, these fields need to be configured for each location. Custom fields can be used in any way. These fields can be configured by navigating to My Club > Location Settings for Club Admins. If the fields are read-only, reach out to support@club-os.com to enable this feature or for the Club OS Support Team to update these field on your behalf.

Non-Configurable Dynamic Content

All other available dynamic content fields do not need to be configured as Club OS will use information contained within the application.

Using Dynamic Content

Follow Up Scripts

When configuring follow up scripts, dynamic content can be selected using the drop down menu in the Email and Text type.

Email Campaigns

When creating an email campaign or template you can select dynamic content by selecting 'Merge tags' in the text editor.

You can also copy the merge tag and insert it into the URL field for images, buttons, video or social media.

Text Campaigns

When creating content for a Text Campaign, you can select dynamic content using the link.
