For customers using ABC/DataTrak as their Member Management System, they are able to sell memberships and/or convert prospects by either logging directly into the DataTrak application on a desktop or using a URL provided by ABC. These URLs are referred to as MICO Links.
The URLs can include [optional] IDs such as company ID and/or plan ID in order for the URL to delegate directly to a specific page.
In-Club URL vs Join Online MICO Links
Clubs should have 2 versions of a URL, one that is used for in-club sign ups (typically on an iPad/tablet that does not require the DataTrak application downloaded) and one that is used for online sign ups on their website or other landing pages. For in-club, the URL needs to include "&clubIpad=true".
Example of online sign up MICO Link: https://signup.myiclubonline.com/iclub/signup/home#plans?clubNumber={{club-number}}
Example of in-club MICO Link: https://signup.myiclubonline.com/iclub/signup/home#plans?clubNumber={{club-number}}&clubIPad=true
{{club-number}} = The ABC location ID
Why is using the correct link important?
If https://signup.myiclubonline.com/iclub/signup/home#plans?clubNumber={{club-number}} MICO Link is used, then the membership will sync to Club OS as an online sign up and therefore will not create/close a lead appointment (membership tour) and will not count towards closing %. If that link is being used to sell memberships in the club, then their closing % will be negatively impacted.
