Auto Convert is a feature available to clubs on the Premium tier of service that allows the option for accounts to be automatically converted from Credit Card or ACH Billing to Statement billing based on certain conditions.
ASF Billing
In ASF billing, either of the following conditions automatically converts accounts:
- a membership dues payment is rejected with a hard decline (payment is not allowed to be re-tried)
- a membership dues payment has reached the maximum payment attempts (up to 4 attempts based on payment method)
Invoice Based Billing
In Invoice Based Billing, the following condition automatically converts accounts:
- a membership dues payment is rejected with a hard decline (payment is not allowed to be re-tried)
NOTE
In Invoice Based Billing, when a membership dues payment has reached the maximum payment attempts (up to 10 attempts based on payment method), the account does not get automatically converted. Instead, the individual payment (invoice) is no longer attempted, and payment attempts resume with the next payment (invoice) due.
