Cancellation and Freeze Reasons

Cancellation and Freeze reasons will allow you to create some preset reasons for cancelling or freezing member accounts. Note: This feature will only work in Member Management. It will not work for the Legacy Members page.

 

Cancellation and Freeze are accessed through the Client Preferences found in Settings. Select Settings, then Client Preferences, then select the Member tab.

 

Next, select the Cancellation Reasons tab or the Freeze Reasons tab. These tabs will function the same way, so we will only look at adding reasons to one of them.

 

You can create a new reason by simply adding the name and clicking the + icon. This will add the new reason to the list and it will be available in Member Management.

 

Existing reasons can be edited using the Pencil icon. This allows you to change the name of the reason or inactivate it. After making changes, click the Save icon.

 

Lastly, if you have reciprocal clubs, you can use the Copy Reasons button to copy the Cancellation or Freeze Reasons to any of your other locations. Select Copy Reasons, choose the club you wish to copy to, then select Append or Replace. Append will add the reasons to any existing reasons, while Replace will remove any existing reasons from the target club.
