The Origin data point is collected at time of Prospect or Member creation. This answers the question of “How did we capture this person’s information?”. Marketing Sources are also collected which helps answer the question of “How did this person hear about our brand?” and can be customized by the brand. Origins are assigned based on how the prospect is captured. Below are the available origins: 

• Web - Prospects added from external sources (Club OS Weblead Form, Facebook Lead Ad Integration, HubSpot, Zapier, and/or REST API V1 [using /prospect service]) and/or webleads added manually on the Add New Lead Page if permission is allowed. 
• Referral - Prospects added from the Add Referral Page, Add New Lead Page (origin of Referral selected), Club OS Referral Form and/or REST API V1 [using /referral service]. 
• Walk In - Prospects added from the Guest Waiver, Add New Lead Page (origin of Walk In selected) or members added from Member Management System integrations.
• Outreach - Prospects added from the Add New Lead Page (origin of Outreach selected) or Club OS Outreach form. 
• Telephone Inquiry (TI) - Prospects added from the Add New Lead Page (origin of TI selected). 
• Other - Prospects added from the Add New Lead Page (origin of Other selected). This is also the default origin for some entry points if no origin is specified. 

The following origins may also be available based on your club's settings:

• Lost Join - Prospects added via API that began the online sign-up process but ultimately did not purchase a membership and/or leads added manually on the Add New Lead Page if permission is allowed. 
• VIP Guest - Prospects created from the VIP Guest button on the Guest Waiver or were created in Club OS as a VIP Guest. 
• Student - Prospects created from the Student button on the Guest Waiver and/or leads added manually on the Add New Lead Page (or Club OS API ) with an origin of Student.  Members that purchase memberships designated as 'Student' may also have this origin applied if they did not exist in Club OS prior to their membership purchase.
• Paid Pass - Prospects created from the Paid Pass (v2) button on the Guest Waiver and/or leads added manually on the Add New Lead Page (or Club OS API) with an origin of Paid Pass
• Pay As You Go - Prospects created from the Pay As You Go button on the Guest Waiver and/or leads added manually on the Add New Lead Page (or Club OS API) with an origin of Pay As You Go
