Club OS offers a workflow for prospects who can access the gym because a third party is paying for their visit(s) or membership. This is recommended for Insurance memberships or other third party companies. The same workflow can be used for one or both.

Pay As You Go Prospect Entry
Prospects will register by checking in on the Pay As You Go button (Waiver can be customized to use the club's language) on the club's guest waiver. This will create a new prospect with an origin of Pay As You Go and place them in the Pay As You Go status. This can also be accomplished by adding the lead on the Add New Lead Page or Club OS API and designating the origin as Pay As You Go. As these leads are not checking in for a tour, a membership tour calendar event is not created nor does it affect closing %.

3rd Party Single Use Check Ins
For prospects using 3rd parties that allow single check in access, such as GymPass or Class Pass, if a membership is added in the MMS it is recommended that the membership type is added to the membership type list and configured as “Do Not Convert” in Club OS (for help, reach out to support@club-os.com). This prevents the prospect from converting to a member and receiving member communication/offers, such as offers for free Fitness Assessments.
Insurance Memberships
For prospects signing up as an insurance plan member, it’s recommended they convert to a member (no configuration needed) once the membership is added in the MMS. This allows them to receive member communications and eligible for cross selling items such as Personal or Group training. **Converting to a member will also generate a Membership Tour calendar event and positively affect closing%. If preferred, Pay As You Go origins can be filtered out of Sales Performance to remove these membership types from affecting closing %, membership units and all other analytics.
Pay As You Go Prospect Nurturing
Setup your cadence and scripting for the Pay As You Go status to begin a follow up workflow for prospects. Since Insurance Memberships will convert to members, the prospects that remain in this status are insurance membership prospects who did not complete an agreement or 3rd Party Single Use Check Ins.
The Pay As You Go origin and status are available filters in both SMS and Email campaigns for marketing communication.
