ASF has released a small update to the Returns report due to some updates to Federal regulations in regards to handling collections.

NOTE: If you work with a Collections Agency that ASF sends information to, you will find a few new changes to the Returns report. Additionally, additional information per the new regulations will now be provided to those collection agencies

Returns Report

• Changed the Date column to be labeled Charge-off Date
• Added a new column called Delta Since Charge-off
  • This column will display any amounts that were applied to the account AFTER the Charge-off Date. For example, if payments and/or credits were applied to the account after the account was returned, those amounts will be displayed here
  • This value can be positive OR negative. Negative values indicate rejected payments
• A new total amount for Delta Since Charge-off has been added
