For brands with multiple locations, especially those with locations close together geographically, there are instances where prospects will be guests of more than 1 location for the same brand. If the setting to create duplicates is denied (click here to learn more about this setting) then what happens to the single-prospect account, needs to be considered.
If a prospect is a guest of Location A and an Employee from Location A is assigned to them, what should happen when the guest visits Location B?
Option 1: The guest checkins in at Location B but remains a prospect at Location A and Employee from Location A continues to be assigned (Prospect stays at original location)
Option 1 Settings: Both ‘Transfer Location if different than current location” and “Transfer membership follow-up to submitted toured by or Member Sales Default if current membership follow-up is at different location” are NOT enabled.
Option 2: The guest checkins at Location B and their profile transfers to Location B and the prospect is re-assigned to an employee at Location B (Prospect moves to location they most recently visited)
Option 2 Settings: Both ‘Transfer Location if different than current location” and “Transfer membership follow-up to submitted toured by or Member Sales Default if current membership follow-up is at different location” need to be enabled.
